In Milan's Vigentino district, the project by Barreca & La Varra, developed by Redo SGR, is a virtuous example of urban regeneration, which has transformed five abandoned buildings dating back to the 1990s into a modern Social Housing complex with approximately 500 dwellings. The project involved not only the structural redevelopment of the buildings, but also the integration of health, commercial and community services. Particular attention was paid to the design of the public and private spaces, with large green areas and internal courtyards that encourage socialisation and improve residents' quality of life. The regular façades and large loggias ensure high living comfort, creating a balance between privacy and sharing.

Requests

The 5Square project places collaborative living and the circular economy at the centre of its development. The sustainable approach translates, among other initiatives, into the Circular Housing service, which allows residents to rent furniture and appliances without having to deal with their purchase, maintenance or disposal. This innovative vision requires advanced technological solutions for space management and access security, with the aim of guaranteeing convenience, efficiency and total freedom of movement for users.
