INFO ABOUT THE PROJECT
How to allow personalized access authorizations in convention centres through electronic keys and a software

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Architect: Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates

Dublin Convention Centre is the world's first zero-emission conference facility; the building has been conceived with a big auditorium, numerous meetings and conference rooms, as well as an auditorium with a capacity of 2,000 seats. All these areas are controlled by 350 access doors and see a high turnout of people, such as visitors, suppliers and employees.

Requests

The need of Dublin Convention Centre was to control the access of several kind of users through one solution that could easily manage a high number of doors and gates and also assign ad hoc access authorisations in relation to times and spaces dedicated to specific users.

Our contribution

The response to the needs of Dublin Convention Centre has been found with LSA tailor made software for access control that works used in combination with electronic keys. LSA software features several advantages, for example:

  • possibility of managing accesses through a software and smartphone app;
  • benefit of a scalable and safe solution;
  • possibility for the administrator to assign customized access authorizations for specific users in relation to times and spaces for which they need the access;
  • benefit of support and assistance from a dedicated expert team.
